Kit's professional credits include a 35 year career in the Defense Community, specializing in program development, management and implementation. She is currently active in two professional organizations: Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Monmouth Chapter, in which she serves on the Board as Vice President Programs; and the Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA), Mid-Atlantic Chapter. As a member of AAAA she serves in an elected position on the Nominations, Policy and Publicity Committees of the Army Aviation Association of American Scholarship Foundation, Inc., as a Governor of the National Board of Governors, AAAA SFI. Additionally, Kit has chaired the Publicity Committee of AAAA SFI (providing articles and authors to the AAAA Magazine). Kit has developed the Story Board of the Scholarship booth for the annual AAAA Mission Summit bringing recognition and funding to the Families of the Fallen Scholarship and to the General Scholarship Fund. For her years of service to the military community, Kit has been recognized and awarded the Order of St. Michael, Silver Level, by the AAAA and the Patriot's Award from the Fisher House Foundation
Ellie is a Registered Professional Nurse, currently licensed in the State of NJ. (license #NO05975400). Her 40 year Nursing career includes progressive responsibility in healthcare management, specializing in the areas of hospital and community based family care. She was responsible for the overall management of several facilities providing comprehensive family health care, and oversaw the daily activities of a multidisciplinary staff, serving ethnically diverse and financially challenged populations. She ensured compliance with all regulatory and licensure requirements. She wrote, and obtained, several grants totaling in excess of $750,000 to fund healthcare projects beneficial to her patients. Ellie was also active on many hospital and community based committees, including Nursing Service Administration, Continuum of Care, Patient/Family Education Team, and Information Security Management. Ellie currently serves on the board of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Monmouth County Chapter volunteering to provide support to our active military, veterans, and their families.
